The work done from Atelier Sad on this Slovakian gas station architecture is a good example of how boundaries can be broken sometimes.
Whoever knows me knows that I am a huge fan of the G-Star brand – I love everything from their industrial fashion style to their brand identity and personality. I was amazed to see the architecture renders of their headquarters in Amsterdam. The building is currently under construction – can’t wait to see the finished product!

On our last holiday to Thailand, Brendon and I found this concrete building in the middle of Lad Phrao, Bangkok. Very unusual considering that the surround area consist of street markets, street food, sewerage smell and tuk tuk. The concrete features and the neat detailing on this concrete building really strikes me – love the way they have cut the bush in front to match up with the window shape.
I love this industrial style architecture mixed with flat colour blocking to accentuate the metal beams. Would love to adopt this to our new house.
